How to Watch the Jonesboro Open (Last updated Mar 26)
The Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) and the Disc Golf Pro Tour (DGPT) want fans to see the best players up close and personal.
The 2018 Jonesboro Open will be free to everyone to come out and watch.
Disc Side of Heaven is located at 3255 Strawfloor Drive, Jonesboro AR, 72404.
IF YOU ARE COMING FROM LITTLE ROCK, do NOT follow your GPS (It will take you down a dirt road and a one-lane wooden bridge!) Stay on Hwy 49 until you get to Parker Road (If you cross I-555 you have gone too far). Turn Left on Parker Road and allow your GPS to take you from there.
There is limited parking at Disc Side of Heaven, we encourage everyone to carpool as much as possible.
All three days you will be able to park at Sloan Lake Estates. Sloan Lake Estates is a relativity new subdivision. There are two cul-de-sacs close to Disc Side of Heaven that have no homes built. You can park there and follow the red/pink flags to the course.
Also for all three days there is overflow parking located near Hole #4 basket. Follow Strawfloor Drive around to the South and the gate will be on your right.
On Saturday and Sunday, you will be able to park at Ridgefield Christian School – 3824 Casey Springs Rd, Jonesboro, AR 72404 – and walk up the hill to Disc Side of Heaven.
As soon as you get on site, stop by the Coca-Cola Volunteer Tent to pick up a DGPT Program and that days Tee Times. Inside the Program will be a map of the course showing the best places to watch. The tent will be located as soon as you walk in the Main Gate. If you park at Hole #4 some programs will be there, but all vendors are located at Main Gate.
There will be food and beverages for purchase on-site on Saturday and Sunday. CASH ONLY Menu is as follows:
Saturday Lunch: Smoked Wings and Chips $8 or Brats & Chips $4
Saturday Dinner: Award winning Memphis style Ribs, Slaw, Potato Salad $8 or Hubcap Sandwich (Smoked Bologna) and Chips $4

Disc Side of Heaven is located on an active Hay Field. It is extremely hilly and rough. Please come prepared with good, closed toe shoes. Be aware of your surroundings as all of Mother Nature’s creatures will be stirring by early April. There is some shade on the course, but other areas where there is none. Please consider sunscreen and insect repellent. Regular baby strollers with small wheels are not recommended. Jogging strollers with large wheels work much better.
